School of Mechanical Engineering

School of Mechanical Engineering, founded in 2007, offers five undergraduate majors, including Mechanical Engineering, Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering as well as Automobile Service Engineering. In particular, Mechanical Engineering is designated as one of the first batch of first-class undergraduate majors at the national level under the Ministry of Education’s “Double Ten Thousand Plan”, the first-class major in Jilin Province, the featured high-level major in Jilin Province, and the 2.0 major construction project under the Jilin Province Excellent Engineer Training Program. As a provincial-level professionally distinguished school, the School has one provincial-level excellent teaching team, one provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration center, one provincial-level school-enterprise joint technology innovation laboratory, one provincial-level short-supply talent training “Dazheng-Guanghua” customized class, one provincial-level first-class course and one provincial-level excellent course.

The School has 20 teaching laboratories and one engineering training center, including intelligent manufacturing technology and assembly, mechatronics integration, industrial robots etc., with a total area of 2,060 square meters and a total equipment value of 14.5 million RMB.
