On August 28, 2024, CGU debuted its original play The Tailor’s Shop at the Ne Yin Performing Arts Center in the Chinan District of Changbai Mountain. The premiere was attended by distinguished local officials and university leaders, including Cao Shuqing, Level 2 Inspector of the Changbai Mountain Administrative Committee and Party Committee Secretary of Chinan District, as well as CGU’s Chairman Kang Qipeng and President Li Xiaoguang.
