With paintings as a medium, we pay tribute to twenty-five years of glory! CGU’s “Pursuing the Light, Embracing New Glory” Art Exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding warmly welcomes friends from all walks of life to visit the exhibition and appreciate the charm of art. The exhibition period is from September 28, 2025 to November 30, 2025. Sponsored by CGU and undertaken by School of Film and Changchun Guanghua Art Gallery, the exhibition brings together 122 masterpieces of various types created by teachers of CGU in recent years, including oil paintings, watercolors, and pen and ink drawings, with rich themes and diverse styles. Each work originates from life but transcends reality, which is not only a fusion of skills and feelings but also a dialogue between ideas and the times.
The works on display this time not only inherit and innovate China’s excellent traditions but also reflect the exploration and integration in the exchange between Chinese and Western cultures. These creations are not only the condensation of the creators’ personal talent and ingenuity but also carry the collective memory and spiritual imprint of an era. They record a university’s persistence and pursuit in art education with visual language and show the growing cultural awareness and confidence of generations of Guanghua people.
