CGU has implemented teaching and practical training in ice and snow sports for years. In 2010, CGU introduced a public course in cross-country skiing. In 2019, it established a specialized skiing module, laying a solid foundation for the development of the Micro-Major in Ice and Snow Sports. With the core objective of cultivating highly qualified ice and snow sports professionals, aligning education with industry needs, and supporting the development of the ice-and-snow economy, the major has established an integrated training model combining theoretical instruction, skills training, certificate authentication and employment linkage, achieving a seamless progression of learning, certification and employment.

During the winter vacation, students from the Micro-Major in Ice and Snow Sports at CGU took up positions at ski resorts across the country, with their solid professional skills and industry certificates. Through their professional expertise, they have contributed to the development of local ice and snow sports and demonstrated the sound achievements of CGU’s talent-training in this field.
