On June 5, a concert featuring classic excerpts from the national operaYimeng Mountain, jointly rehearsed and staged by School of Education and the University Opera Center of CGU, was successfully performed at Jilin Public Theatre. Zhang Yan, Chairman of Jilin Internet Media Co., Ltd., Sha Bin, Director of Jilin Chinese and Foreign Cultural Exchange Center, Zhang Yong, Vice President ofCGU, Han Gang, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Education, and Chen Yao, Vice Dean of the School, attended the performance. Faculty and students of the school reproduced the extraordinary and arduous years of the Yimeng mountainous area with resonant singing. The event integrated red ideological and political education into artistic practice courses, and explored a new model of nurturing people through aesthetic education via stage performances.
