On August 22, 2022, CGU officially became a member of the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Higher Education Institutions Consortium (CCHEIC). Currently, the CCHEIC involves 290 Chinese institutions and 37 institutions from 15 Central and Eastern European countries. It has held seven annual conferences and 21 forums/seminars. It has also operated 76 joint education projects.
