On September 22, 2024, CGU’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Troupe hosted a special performance of Xiuyan Shadow Puppetry at the North Campus Sports Field. The event featured Lyu Zhengye, a national-level inheritor of China’s intangible cultural heritage from Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County (Anshan City, Liaoning Province), and his troupe, offering students an immersive experience in this ancient art form.
