On September 30, 2024, to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, CGU successfully concluded its 11th Track and Field Games. The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman Kang Qipeng, President Li Xiaoguang, Party Committee Secretary and Supervision Commissioner Yan Feng, Vice President Luan Xuegang, Vice President Chen Tie, Vice President and General Manager of the Logistics Service Company Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Vice President Li Chunsheng, Vice President Zhang Yong, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Gao Haiying. Heads of schools and departments, students, and alumni gathered at the sports field to witness the vibrant energy of the CGU community. Gao Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presided over the ceremony.
