On October 15, 2024, “Stage Design in Bloom: Changchun” — The 1st New Era Chinese Stage Design & Higher Education Achievements Exhibition — opened at the Art Museum of Jilin University of Arts in Changchun, Jilin Province. Co-hosted by the China Institute of Stage Design and Jilin University of Arts, the event was organized by the School of Traditional Chinese Opera and its Art Museum, with support from the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Changchun Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. 26 universities and art institutions participated as co-organizers. School of Film showcased multiple works at the exhibition and received the  “Excellence in Teaching Achievement” award conferred by the China Institute of Stage Design, recognizing its contributions to stage design education.
