School of Film recently convened a symposium on its pedagogical, research, and creative achievements in Room 701 of the Film Training Building. The event was attended by Professor Luan Xuegang, Vice President of CGU, along with all faculty members of the School of Film. Hosted by Zhang Tong, Vice Dean of the School of Film, the symposium featured in-depth discussions and presentations from five faculty members. Focusing on talent cultivation, specialty enhancement, practice-based teaching, and artistic creation, the speakers shared insights across multiple dimensions: from optimizing curriculum frameworks and innovating pedagogical methodologies to advancing practical teaching and pushing boundaries in creative output. Their contributions comprehensively highlighted the School’s groundbreaking accomplishments of integrating teaching, research, and artistic practice.
