On the morning of April 27, 2025, CGU held a grand opening ceremony with the theme of  “Chasing Light, Chasing Dreams, and Blooming Colors” in the Movie Coffee Cinema. Chairman Kang Qipeng, President Li Xiaoguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Supervision Commissioner Yan Feng, Vice President Luan Xuegang, Vice President Chen Tie, Vice President and General Manager of the Logistics Service Company Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Vice President Li Chunsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Gao Haiying, Head of the Regional Culture Research and Communication Center Li Xinyang, Vice Chairman of the Jilin Film Association and Director of the CGU Film Industry Research Center Wang Fu’an, as well as leaders from various departments of the University, deputy secretaries of the Party branches of various teaching schools, and student representatives gathered together to witness the birth of this new campus cultural space and landmark. This event was presided over by Gao Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President.
