“When Light and Shadow Meet Poetry, the Brush Paints the Glory of the Tang Dynasty” —— Teachers and Students Watch the Film Chang An and Create the Scroll “A Thousand Miles of Chang’an” Collaboratively

To promote fine traditional Chinese culture and ignite teachers and students’ passion for exploring the splendor of the High Tang and its poetic artistry, Guanghua Movie Café, in collaboration with School of Education, recently hosted a painting event entitled “When Light and Shadow Meet Poetry, the Brush Paints the Glory of the Tang Dynasty”. The event centered around the animated film Chang An as well as included guided film appreciation, musical appreciation, fun poetry activities, calligraphy, and a collaborative painting of the “A Thousand Miles of Chang’an” scroll by teachers and students. Through these interactive and immersive experiences, participants were led on a deep and systematic journey into the artistic charm of Tang poetry and music, inspiring students to love and explore fine traditional Chinese culture.
