On April 28, the 2026 National Youth Green Plant Adoption Campaign themed “Beautiful China, Youth Initiative”, was held at CGU. The event was jointly organized by the Social Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and Weibo Campus, and hosted by the CGU Publicity Department of the CPC Committee and the Youth League Committee. Plant adoption stations were set up in front of the Dining Hall on the North Campus and at the One-Stop Student Community Center on the South Campus. More than 500 potted succulent plants were distributed, with hundreds of teachers and students participating in the event and adopting succulents, injecting vibrant greenery into the campus.
